ലഹരി പരിശോധനയില്‍ എയര്‍ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ രണ്ട് പൈലറ്റുമാര്‍ കൂടി പോസിറ്റീവെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തി. പ്രാഥമിക പരിശോധനാഫലമാണ് പുറത്തുവന്നത്. ഇനി സ്ഥിരീകരണ പരിശോധന നടത്തും. ഫുക്കറ്റ്–ഡല്‍ഹി വിമാനത്തിന്‍റെ പൈലറ്റ് ലഹരി ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നതായി കണ്ടെത്തിയതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് പൈലറ്റുമാരുടെ പരിശോധന കര്‍ശനമാക്കിയത്. പൈലറ്റ് കഞ്ചാവ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നതായാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.

പുതിയ പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടം അനുസരിച്ച് പൈലറ്റുമാരുടെ ഡ്രഗ് ടെസ്റ്റ് എല്ലാ പൈലറ്റുമാരും പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കണമെന്ന് എയര്‍ ഇന്ത്യ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇതനുസരിച്ച് എയര്‍ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ 300 പൈലറ്റുമാര്‍ ഇതുവരെ പരിശോധന പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കി. ഇവരുടെ അന്തിമപരിശോധനാഫലം 48 മണിക്കൂറിനകം പുറത്തുവരും.
