കഴിഞ്ഞ മല്‍സരത്തില്‍ ‘കൊമ്പു കോര്‍ത്ത’ ശ്രീലങ്ക എയോട് ബാറ്റു കൊണ്ട് പകരം ചോദിച്ച് വൈഭവ് സൂര്യവംശി. ത്രിരാഷ്ട്ര ഏകദിനത്തിന്‍റെ ഫൈനലില്‍ വൈഭവ് നിറഞ്ഞാടി. 29 പന്തില്‍ 94 റണ്‍സാണ് താരം നേടിയത്. 10 ബൗണ്ടറിയും എട്ടു സിക്സറുമാണ് 15 കാരന്‍റെ ബാറ്റില്‍ നിന്നും പിറന്നത്. 

ആദ്യ ഓവറിലെ അഞ്ചാം പന്തിലാണ് വൈഭവ് ആദ്യമായി സ്ട്രൈക്കിലേക്ക് വരുന്നത്. തുടരെ രണ്ട് ഫോറടിച്ച് ഓവര്‍ അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ബാറ്റിങിനെത്തിയത് മൂന്നാം ഓവറില്‍. ഈ ഓവറില്‍ മാത്രം 26 റണ്‍സാണ് വൈഭവ് നേടിയത്. മൊഹമ്മദ് ഷിറാസിന്‍റെ ഓവറില്‍ മൂന്നു സിക്സും രണ്ട് ഫോറുമാണ് വൈഭവ് നേടിയത്. 

നാലാം ഓവറില്‍ മൂന്നാം പന്തില്‍ ഫോര്‍. പിന്നീട് അടുത്തടുത്ത പന്തുകളിലായി രണ്ടു സിക്സര്‍. അങ്ങനെ 11 പന്തിലാണ് വൈഭവ് അര്‍ധ സെ‍ഞ്ചറി പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയത്. വൈഭവിനൊപ്പം പ്രിയാന്‍ഷ് ആര്യ കൂടെ തകര്‍ത്തടിച്ചതടെ ഇന്ത്യ 7.1 ഓവറില്‍ 100 കടന്നു. 

സെഞ്ചറിയിലേക്ക് കുതിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന വൈഭവ് സഹന്‍ ആരാച്ചിഗെയുടെ പന്തില്‍ വി വ്യാസകാന്ത് ക്യാച്ചെടുത്ത് പുറത്താക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. 132 റണ്‍സാണ് ഓപ്പണിങ് വിക്കറ്റില്‍ ഇന്ത്യ നേടിയത്. പ്രിയാന്‍ഷ് ആര്യയും ഋതുരാജ് ഗെയ്ക്വാദുമാണ് ക്രീസില്‍.

In a sensational display of power hitting, 16-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi led India's charge in the tri-nation ODI final against Sri Lanka A with a blistering 94 runs off just 29 balls. Displaying incredible aggression, he hammered 10 boundaries and eight sixes, including a 26-run onslaught in a single over, and reached his half-century in a mere 11 deliveries. His explosive opening partnership with Priyansh Arya helped India cross the 100-run mark in just 7.1 overs, setting a dominant tone for the innings before he was eventually caught off the bowling of Sahan Arachchige. Although Vaibhav missed his century, his record-breaking innings, supported by Arya, has put India in a commanding position in the final.
