ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശിനെ ഞെട്ടിച്ച് വീണ്ടും ക്ഷേത്ര അപകടം. വിശാഖപട്ടണത്ത് ഉത്സവത്തിനിടയുണ്ടായ കനത്ത മഴയിൽ മതിൽ ഇടിഞ്ഞു വീണ് 8 പേർ മരിച്ചു. പ്രസിദ്ധമായ വരാഹലക്ഷ്മി നരസിംസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പുലർച്ചെയാണ് അപകടം. മരിച്ചവരില് നാലുപേർ സ്ത്രീകളാണ്.
കൗണ്ടറിന് സമീപമുള്ള 20 അടി നീളമുള്ള മതിൽ ദർശനത്തിനായി വരിനിന്നവരുടെ ഇടയിലേക്ക് തകർന്നു വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു. ദേശീയ ദുരന്തനിവാരണ സേനയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ തിരച്ചിൽ തുടരുകയാണ്. മരണസംഖ്യ കൂടുമെന്ന് സൂചന. ആയിരത്തിലധികം വിശ്വാസികള് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Another tragic temple incident shocks Andhra Pradesh. In Visakhapatnam, eight people were killed when a wall collapsed due to heavy rain during a festival. The tragedy occurred early morning at the famous Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. Four of the victims were women.
A 20-foot-long wall near the ticket counter collapsed onto devotees waiting in line for darshan. Search and rescue operations are ongoing under the leadership of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
