ഈ ലോകകപ്പിലെ അതിവേഗ ഗോളുമായി  മൊറോക്കന്‍ താരം ഇസ്മായില്‍ സായ്ബാരി. സ്കോട്​ലന്‍ഡിനെതിരെ 71–ാം സെക്കന്‍റിലാണ് സായ്ബാരിയുടെ മിന്നല്‍ഗോള്‍ പിറന്നത്. സ്കോട്ടിഷ് പ്രതിരോധത്തില്‍ വിള്ളല്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയ ബ്രഹീം ഡയസ് നല്‍കിയ ത്രൂ ബോള്‍ കാലിലാക്കി കുതിച്ച സായ്ബാരി ഗോള്‍വലയിലേക്ക് അടിച്ചു കയറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു.

ലോകകപ്പിലെ മൊറോക്കോയുടെ ആദ്യ മല്‍സരത്തില്‍ ബ്രസീലിനെതിരെയും സായ്ബാരി ഗോള്‍ നേടിയിരുന്നു. ഇതോടെ ലോകകപ്പില്‍ തുടര്‍ച്ചായ മല്‍സരങ്ങളില്‍ ഗോള്‍ നേടുന്ന ആദ്യ മൊറോക്കന്‍ താരമായും സായ്ബാരി മാറി.
