ലഹരി വ്യാപനം ചെറുക്കാന്‍ എറണാകുളം ലോക്സഭ മണ്ഡലത്തില്‍ പുതിയ പദ്ധതി. പുതുതലമുറയെ  ലഹരിയില്‍ നിന്ന് അകറ്റാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുന്ന മൈന്‍ഡ് ട്രെയിനിങ് പ്രോഗ്രാമുകള്‍, പഞ്ചായത്ത് തല സര്‍വേകള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കുക.

എറണാകുളം പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റ് മണ്ഡലത്തില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെയാണ്  'നോ എന്‍ട്രി ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ  ക്യാംപയ്ന്‍' സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച  നടന്‍ പൃഥ്വിരാജ് സുകുമാരന്‍ നോ എന്‍ട്രി ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ  ക്യാംപെയ്ന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. ജെയിന്‍ ഡീംഡ് ടു ബി യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി, കൊച്ചി ഫ്യൂച്ചര്‍ കേരള മിഷന്‍ എന്നിവയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെയാണ് പ്രോജക്ട്  'വേണ്ട' എന്ന ഫോര്‍ത്ത് വേവ് ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്‍റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത്.

ലഹരിയുടെ സ്വാധീനത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളെ അകറ്റാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുന്ന മൈന്‍ഡ് ട്രെയിനിങ് പരിപാടികള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ സ്കൂളുകളില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കും.

പഞ്ചായത്തുകള്‍ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയുള്ള  സര്‍വ്വേ,  ബോധവത്ക്കരണ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍,  പ്രാദേശിക ചെറു കൂട്ടായ്മകള്‍ രൂപീകരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുള്ള ആക്റ്റിവിറ്റികള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവയും പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കും.

A new initiative, 'No Entry Anti-Drug Campaign,' is launching in the Ernakulam Lok Sabha constituency to combat drug abuse, especially among the youth. The project includes mind training programs for students to steer them away from addiction, along with Panchayat-level surveys, awareness activities, and the formation of local self-help groups. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran will inaugurate the campaign on Thursday. This initiative is a collaborative effort with Jain Deemed to be University, Kochi Future Kerala Mission, and is led by the Fourth Wave Foundation's 'Venda' project. The campaign aims to tackle the widespread issue of substance abuse through a multi-pronged approach involving local self-government bodies.
