സ്വകാര്യ ബസിന്റെ വശത്ത് നിൽക്കുകയായിരുന്ന ഫാത്തിമ, ബസ് വളവുതിരിയുന്നതിനിടെ നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട് തുറന്നുകിടന്ന വാതിലിലൂടെ പുറത്തേക്ക് വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു. ബസിന്റെ ഡോർ അടച്ചിരുന്നില്ലെന്ന് ദൃശ്യങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു വ്യക്തമാണ്. 

അപകടത്തിനു പിന്നാലെ നാട്ടുകാർ ചേർന്ന് വിദ്യാർഥിനിയെ ഉടനടി ചാവക്കാട്ടെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. പ്രാഥമിക ചികിത്സയ്ക്കു ശേഷം ഫാത്തിമയ്ക്ക് ഗുരുതരമായ പരുക്കുകളോ മറ്റ് ശാരീരിക അസ്വസ്ഥതകളോ ഇല്ലെന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തിയതിനെ തുടർന്ന് വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി.

The victim, identified as 20-year-old Fathima, a student at Little Flower College, was standing near the door when the vehicle negotiated a sharp turn at the South Bypass road. Shocking CCTV footage of the incident surfaced online, clearly showing that the bus was operating with its door wide open. Following the accident, local residents immediately rushed the student to a private hospital in Chavakkad, where doctors discharged her after confirming she sustained no severe injuries.
