തിരുവല്ല കുറ്റൂരില് നവജാതശിശുവിനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച നിലയില് കണ്ടെത്തി. തട്ടുകടയിലാണ് കുഞ്ഞിനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. കുറ്റൂരിലെ റെയില്വേ അടിപ്പാതയ്ക്കടുത്തുള്ള ജയരാജന്റെ തട്ടുകടയില് പുലര്ച്ചെ നാലുമണിയോടെയാണ് കുഞ്ഞിനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ജയരാജനും ഭാര്യയും രാവിലെ തട്ടുകട തുറക്കാനെത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് ചോരക്കുഞ്ഞിന്റെ കരച്ചില് കേട്ടത്. ഉടന് തന്നെ സമീപവാസികളെയും പൊലീസിനെയും വിവരമറിയിച്ചു. തിരുവല്ല പൊലീസെത്തി കുഞ്ഞിനെ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു.
