മലപ്പുറം കാളികാവിലെ കടുവാ ദൗത്യത്തിനെത്തിച്ച കുങ്കിയാന പാപ്പാനെ ആക്രമിച്ചു. കുഞ്ചു എന്ന കുങ്കിയാനയാണ് പാപ്പാന് അഭയ് കൃഷ്ണനെ ആക്രമിച്ചത്. കഴുത്തിന് പരുക്കേറ്റ പാപ്പാനെ വണ്ടൂരിലെ ആശുപത്രിയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. രാവിലെ ഒന്പതരയോടെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. കോന്നി സുരേന്ദ്രൻ, കുഞ്ചു എന്നീ രണ്ട് കുങ്കിയാനകളെയായിരുന്നു ദൗത്യത്തിനായി വനംവകുപ്പ് കാളികാവില് എത്തിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്.
