രാജ്യം റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കാന്‍ മണിക്കൂറുകള്‍ മാത്രം ബാക്കി നില്‍ക്കെ രാജസ്ഥാനില്‍ നിന്ന് വന്‍തോതില്‍  സ്ഫോടകവസ്തു ശേഖരം പിടികൂടി. ഉഗ്ര സ്ഫോടന ശേഷിയുള്ള 10,000 കിലോ അമോണിയം നൈട്രേറ്റും ഡിറ്റണേറ്ററുകളുമാണ് ഇന്നലെ രാത്രിയോടെ നാഗുര്‍ ജില്ലയിലെ ഹര്‍സൗറില്‍ നിന്ന് പിടികൂടിയത്. വയലില്‍ ഒളിപ്പിച്ച നിലയില്‍ 187 ചാക്കുകളിലായാണ് അമോണിയം നൈട്രേറ്റ് സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നതെന്ന് നാഗുര്‍ എസ്പി മൃദുല്‍ കച്ഛ്വ അറിയിച്ചു. ഇതിന് പുറമെ ഒന്‍പത് കാര്‍ഡ് ബോര്‍ഡ് ബോക്സുകളിലായി സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്ന ഡിറ്റണേറ്ററുകളും 12 ബോക്സുകളിലായി സൂക്ഷിച്ച 15 കെട്ട് നീല ഫ്യൂസ് ഫയറും 12 ബോക്സിലായി അഞ്ച് കെട്ട് ചുവപ്പ് ഫ്യൂസ് വയറും ഇവിടെ നിന്നും കണ്ടെത്തി. കഴിഞ്ഞ നവംബറില്‍ ചെങ്കോട്ടയില്‍ സ്ഫോടനത്തിന് ഭീകരര്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചതും അമോണിയം നൈട്രേറ്റായിരുന്നു. 

സ്ഫോടക വസ്തുക്കള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഗ്രാമവാസിയായ സുലൈമാന്‍ ഖാന്‍ പിടിയിലായി. മൂന്ന് ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകള്‍ ഇയാള്‍ക്കെതിരെ നേരത്തെ റജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നു. അനധികൃത ഖനനത്തിനായി ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് വെടിമരുന്ന് നല്‍കിവരുന്നയാളാണ് സുലൈമാനെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമികാന്വേഷണത്തില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. സംഭവത്തില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ അന്വേഷണം നടത്തുകയാണെന്നും ഏതെങ്കിലും തരത്തിലുള്ള ഭീകരബന്ധമുണ്ടോയെന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും  പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. സ്ഫോടക വസ്തു ശേഖരം പിടികൂടിയതും മറ്റു വിവരങ്ങളും കേന്ദ്ര ഏജന്‍സികളെ അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും  പൊലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. 

അതേസമയം, 77–ാം റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ദിനാഘോഷത്തിന് രാജ്യം തയാറെടുക്കുകയാണ്. കര്‍ത്തവ്യപഥില്‍ രാഷ്ട്രപതി ദ്രൗപതി മുര്‍മു ദേശീയ പതാക ഉയര്‍ത്തും. ആയിരങ്ങള്‍ അണിനിരക്കുന്ന വര്‍ണാഭമായ പരേഡിനും രാജ്യതലസ്ഥാനം സാക്ഷിയാകും.രാഷ്ട്രപതി ഭവനില്‍ നിന്നാരംഭിക്കുന്ന പരേഡ് ഇന്ത്യാഗേറ്റിലാകും അവസാനിക്കുക. കര–നാവിക–വ്യോമ സേന അംഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പുറമെ 2500ലേറെ കലാകാരന്‍മാരും പരേഡില്‍ പങ്കുചേരും. രാവിലെ ഒന്‍പത് മണിക്ക് രാഷ്ട്രപതി പതാക ഉയര്‍ത്തിയ ശേഷമാകും പരേഡിന് തുടക്കമാകുക.

In a major security operation, Rajasthan Police seized 10,000 kg of high-grade ammonium nitrate and several detonators from Nagaur district's Harsaur village on the eve of India's 77th Republic Day. Nagaur SP Mridul Kachawa confirmed that 187 sacks of explosives were found hidden in a field along with multiple boxes of detonators and fuse wires. A local resident named Suleiman Khan, who has a prior criminal record, has been arrested in connection with the massive stockpile. While preliminary reports suggest the explosives were intended for illegal mining, authorities are not ruling out potential terror links given the timing of the Republic Day celebrations. Central intelligence agencies have been alerted to the situation to conduct a deeper probe into the network involved. Security has been heightened across Rajasthan and the national capital following the recovery. This seizure underscores the critical vigilance maintained by security forces during high-alert periods in January 2026. The explosives found are of the same type used in previous high-intensity blasts, making the recovery significant. Investigations are ongoing to trace the source and final destination of these illegal explosives. The national capital remains under a multi-tier security blanket for the grand parade at Kartavya Path.
