ഇറാന്–ഖത്തര് അതിര്ത്തിയില് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രകൃതിവാതക കേന്ദ്രമായ സൗത്ത് പാര്സിലേക്ക് ഇസ്രയേല് നടത്തിയ ആക്രമണം യുഎസിനോട് ആലോചിക്കാതെയെന്ന് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡോണള്ഡ് ട്രംപ്. ഇനി ഈ മേഖലയിലേക്ക് ഇസ്രയേല് ആക്രമണം നടത്തില്ലെന്നും ട്രംപ് പറയുന്നു. ഇറാന് ഖത്തറുമായി ചേര്ന്ന് നടത്തുന്ന സൗത്ത് പാര്സിനെ ലക്ഷ്യംവച്ചതിനെതിരെ ശക്തമായ ഭാഷയില് അപലപിച്ച് ഖത്തറും രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരുന്നു.
സൗത്ത് പാര്സ് ആക്രമണം അമേരിക്ക അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലെന്നും തങ്ങള്ക്കിതില് പങ്കില്ലെന്നും പ്രസിഡന്റ് പറയുന്നു. നിലവില് നടക്കുന്ന സംഘര്ഷങ്ങളില് പ്രകോപിതരായാണ് ഈ മേഖലയിലേക്ക് ഇസ്രയേല് ക്രൂരമായ ആക്രമണം നടത്തിയതെന്നും ട്രംപ് ട്രൂത്ത് സോഷ്യല് പ്ലാറ്റിഫോമിലൂടെ പറയുന്നു.

അതേസമയം ഇറാന് ഇനിയും ഖത്തറിനു നേരെ ആക്രമണം നടത്തിയാല് ഇസ്രയേലിന്റെ സമ്മതമോ സഹായമോ കൂടാതെ സൗത്ത് പാര്സ് പൂര്ണമായും തകര്ത്തുകളയുമെന്നും ട്രംപ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കി. ഈ പ്രഹരം ഇറാന് ഇതുവരെ അനുഭവിക്കാത്തതോ കാണാത്തതോ ആയിരിക്കുമെന്നും ട്രംപ് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.
അതേസമയം ഖത്തറിലെ ഊര്ജകേന്ദ്രങ്ങളെ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുള്ള ഇറാന്റെ ആക്രമണത്തില് സുപ്രധാന ഊര്ജഉറവിടങ്ങളില് നാശനഷ്ടം സംഭവിച്ചതായി ദോഹയിലെ സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഓയില് ആന്റ് ഗ്യാസ് കമ്പനി അറിയിച്ചു. ആക്രമണത്തെത്തുടര്ന്നുണ്ടായ തീ നിയന്ത്രണ വിധേയമാക്കാനായി അഗ്നിശമനസേനാ വിഭാഗം നിരന്തര പരിശ്രമത്തിലാണെന്നും റിപ്പോര്ട്ടുണ്ട്.
