കോഴിക്കോട് കൊയിലാണ്ടിയിൽ ബസ് മോഷ്ടിക്കാന് ശ്രമം. കടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു പോകും വഴി ബസ് ചെളിയിൽ താഴ്ന്നതോടെ മോഷ്ടാക്കൾ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു. കോഴിക്കോട്– കൊയിലാണ്ടി റൂട്ടിലോടുന്ന സെനോ ബസാണ് മോഷണം പോയത്. സംഭവത്തില് കൊയിലാണ്ടി പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഇന്ന് പുലർച്ചെ മൂന്ന് മണിയോടെയാണ് സംഭവം. കൊയിലാണ്ടി ബസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡിൽ നിര്ത്തിയിട്ടിരുന്ന സ്വകാര്യ ബസ് ആണ് മോഷ്ടാക്കൾ കടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയത്. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി ഒമ്പത് മണിയോടെ ട്രിപ്പ് അവസാനിപ്പിച്ച് പേരാമ്പ്ര ഭാഗത്തേക്കുള്ള ട്രാക്കിൽ നിർത്തിയിട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ് ബസ്. എന്നാല് കടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു പോകുംവഴി ബസ് സർവീസ് റോഡിൽ ചെളിയിൽ താഴുകയായിരുന്നു. പിന്നാലെ ബസ് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് മോഷ്ടാക്കളും മുങ്ങി.

An attempt to steal a private bus operating on the Kozhikode-Koyilandy route was thwarted after the vehicle got stuck in mud while being driven away by the thieves. The incident took place around 3:00 AM after the bus had been parked following the completion of its trips the previous night. Finding it impossible to move the vehicle out of the muddy service road, the culprits abandoned it at the spot and fled. Koyilandy police have launched a detailed investigation into the attempted theft based on the complaint from operators.
