പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി അധ്യാപകർ പലതവണ പീഡനത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കിയതായാണ് പരാതി. പീഡനം സഹിക്കവയ്യാതെ പെൺകുട്ടി മാതാപിതാക്കളെ വിവരമറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.  ഫെബ്രുവരി 18 ന് ലഭിച്ച പരാതിക്ക് പിന്നാലെ ചൈൽഡ് വെൽഫെയർ കമ്മിറ്റി 48 മണിക്കൂർ നീണ്ട അന്വേഷണം നടത്തി. ശേഷം നിയമനടപടികൾക്കായി കേസ് പൊലീസിന് കൈമാറി. 

പ്രതികളെയും ഇരയെയും വൈദ്യപരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കി. പ്രാഥമിക അന്വേഷണത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് പ്രതികളായ അധ്യാപകരെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. കൂടുതൽ അന്വേഷണം നടന്നുവരുകയാണെന്ന് രാജ്കണിക പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ ഇൻ ചാർജ് സഞ്ജയ് മല്ലിക് പറഞ്ഞു. പ്രതികൾക്കെതിരെ പോക്സോ നിയമപ്രകാരം കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. സംഭവത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട അധ്യാപകരെ ഉടൻ തന്നെ സർവീസിൽ നിന്ന് സസ്പെൻഡ് ചെയ്യാൻ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ് ഉത്തരവിട്ടു.
