തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനില്‍ മേയറെ തടഞ്ഞതിനെച്ചൊല്ലി സി.പി.എം. – ബി.ജെ.പി. കൗണ്‍സിലര്‍മാര്‍ തമ്മില്‍ സംഘര്‍ഷം. ബിജെപി അംഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം ഓഫിസിലെത്തിയ മേയറെ സിപിഎം കൗണ്‍സിലര്‍മാര്‍ തടഞ്ഞു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് അംഗങ്ങള്‍ തമ്മില്‍ ഉന്തും തള്ളുമുണ്ടായി. പ്രതിപക്ഷം പ്രതിഷേധം തുടരുന്നതിനിടെ മേയര്‍ ഓഫിസില്‍ പ്രവേശിച്ചു. സംഘര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ അഞ്ച് എല്‍.ഡി.എഫ്. കൗണ്‍സിലര്‍മാര്‍ക്കും പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥയ്ക്കും പരുക്കേറ്റു. കാലിന് പരുക്കേറ്റെന്ന് മേയര്‍ വി.വി.രാജേഷ്. മേയറെ തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.
