എന്തൊരു നശിച്ച ചൂടാണിത്.... അഞ്ചാറുദിവസം മുമ്പ് വരെ മലയാളി പറഞ്ഞ് നിര്ത്തിയതേയുള്ളു. ഇപ്പോഴോ.. നശിച്ച മഴയെന്ന് മാറ്റിപ്പറയും. വേനലൊടുങ്ങും മുമ്പെ എത്തിയ മഴ. ഒരു പെയ്ത്തായിരുന്നു. സകല ചൂടിനേയും അവാഹിച്ച് പെരുമഴത്തുള്ളികളുടെ മഹാപ്പെയ്ത്ത്. അതില് ദേശീയപാത ഇടിഞ്ഞു. വെള്ളവരെ കണക്കെ ഒരറ്റത്ത് നിന്ന് മറ്റേ അറ്റത്തേക്ക് വെള്ളിടിയായി വിള്ളലുകള്. മല പക്ഷേ കൂടിയതേയുള്ളു. പാതയില് നിന്ന് തെരുവോരങ്ങളിലേക്ക്.. നാടുകളിലേക്ക്, വീടുകളിലേക്ക് അതിന്റെ നശീകരണ ശേഷം ആര്ത്തലച്ചു പെയ്തു, ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ട് ദിവസം.
