ആലപ്പുഴ എസ്.ഡി കോളേജിൽ 50 കോടി രൂപ മുതൽമുടക്കിൽ രാജ്യാന്തര നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള കായിക സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കാൻ കേരള ക്രിക്കറ്റ് അസോസിയേഷൻ. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കെ.സി.എയും സനാതന ധർമ്മ വിദ്യാശാലയും 33 വർഷത്തേക്കുള്ള ലീവ് ആൻഡ് ലൈസൻസ് കരാർ ഒപ്പുവെച്ചു.
ആലപ്പുഴ രംഗമണി ആൻഡ് കമ്പനി ഓഫീസ് കോംപ്ലക്സിൽ കെ.സി.എ പ്രസിഡന്റ് അഡ്വ. ശ്രീജിത്ത് വി. നായരുടെ അധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ കെ.സി.എ സെക്രട്ടറി വിനോദ് എസ്. കുമാറും എസ്.ഡി. വിദ്യാശാല പ്രസിഡന്റ് ആർ. കൃഷ്ണനും ധാരണാപത്രം കൈമാറി. 2009-ൽ ഇരു സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും തമ്മിൽ ഒപ്പുവെച്ച കരാറിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് കോളേജ് ഗ്രൗണ്ടിൽ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് മൈതാനം നിർമിച്ചത്.

The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) is set to develop international-standard sports facilities at S.D. College in Alappuzha with an investment of 50 crore rupees. As part of this initiative, KCA and the Sanatana Dharma Vidyasala have signed a 33-year leave and license agreement. The memorandum of understanding was exchanged between KCA Secretary Vinod S. Kumar and S.D. Vidyasala President R. Krishnan during a ceremony held at the Rangamani and Company office complex in Alappuzha, presided over by KCA President Adv. Sreejith V. Nair. The original cricket ground on the college campus was established based on an initial agreement signed between the two institutions in 2009.
