ദേശീയപാതയിൽ ആലപ്പുഴ എരമല്ലൂരിൽ നിർത്തിയിട്ട ടിപ്പർ ലോറിക്കു പിന്നിൽ കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ബസ് ഇടിച്ചു നാൽപതോളം പേർക്കു പരുക്കേറ്റു. 23 പേരെ നെട്ടൂരിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിലും ഏതാനും പേരെ തുറവൂർ ആശുപത്രിയിലും പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. 5 പേർക്കു സാരമായ പരുക്കുണ്ട്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുനിന്നു പാലക്കാട്ടേക്കു പോകുന്ന സൂപ്പർ ഫാസ്റ്റ് ബസാണ് അപകടത്തിൽപെട്ടത്. 

 

മൂന്ന് ആംബുലൻസുകളിലായാണ് 18 പേരെ  ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചത്. ബാക്കിയുള്ളവരെ ഹൈവേ പൊലീസ് എത്തിച്ചു. അഞ്ച് പേരുടെ ആരോഗ്യനില ഗുരുതരമാണെന്ന് ആശുപത്രി പിആർഒ അറിയിച്ചു.  ആംബുലൻസ് ഡ്രൈവർമാരും നാട്ടുകാരും ഹൈവേ പൊലീസും ചേര്‍ന്നാണ് പരുക്കേറ്റവരെ എത്തിച്ചത്. സംഭവസ്ഥലത്ത് 10-12 പേർ പരുക്കേറ്റ നിലയിൽ ആയിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ആംബുലൻസ് ഡ്രൈവർമാർ പറഞ്ഞു.

 

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

Around 40 people were injured after a KSRTC bus crashed into a parked tipper lorry at Eramalloor in Alappuzha on the national highway. Twenty-three injured passengers were admitted to a private hospital in Nettoor, while a few others were taken to the Thuravoor hospital for treatment. Five people are reported to have sustained serious injuries. The accident involved a KSRTC superfast bus that was travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Palakkad. The bus reportedly rammed into the rear of a tipper lorry that was parked on the roadside along the national highway at Eramalloor.
