ലഹരി പദാർത്ഥങ്ങളുടെ ഉപയോഗം കണ്ടെത്താനായി ഡ്രൈവർമാരെയും യാത്രകാരെയും പരിശോധിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ഒന്നും കണ്ടെത്താൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ലെങ്കിലും പരിശോധന ശക്തമാക്കാനാണ് എക്സൈസിന്‍റെ തീരുമാനം. തുടർച്ചയായി നിയമലംഘനങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തിയ ബസുകളുടെ ആർസി റദ്ദാക്കുന്നതുൾപെടെയുള്ള നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കും.

In a joint operation by the Motor Vehicle Department and the Excise Department, several traffic violations were uncovered during an inspection of private buses at the Kozhikode New Stand. Action is being taken against five drivers found operating without a valid license. The inspection, prompted by an increase in accidents due to reckless racing, led to the seizure of air horns and the identification of buses with tampered speed governors. While drug tests on drivers and passengers yielded no positive results, Excise officials confirmed they will intensify surveillance. Authorities warned that repeated violations would lead to the cancellation of the vehicles' RC.
