​കാഴ്ച പരിമിതി നേരിടുന്ന ഒരാൾക്ക് പുസ്തകം എഴുതാൻ പറ്റുമോ. ഉത്തരം ജോജോ മയിലാടൂർ പറയും. ഭാര്യയെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ഒരു കണ്ണൂരുകാരന്റെ ജീവിത കഥയിലേക്ക്.

ഈ കാണുന്ന ജോജോ സാറിനു മാത്രമല്ല സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്കും  ജന്മനാ കാഴ്ചശക്തിയില്ല. പക്ഷേ ആത്മവിശ്വാസമായിരുന്നു ജോജോയുടെ കണ്ണുകൾക്ക് വെളിച്ചം നൽകിയത്. ആ വെളിച്ചമാണ് പുസ്തകമെഴുതാനും വെല്ലുവിളികളെ അതിജീവിച്ച് പൂർത്തീകരിക്കാനും കോഴിച്ചാൽ ഹയർ സെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂളിലെ സാമൂഹ്യ ശാസ്ത്ര അധ്യാപകനായ ജോജോയെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചത്.

കാഴ്ചക്കുറുവള്ള സഹയാത്രികൻ പുസ്തകം വായിക്കുന്നതും ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതും 2010-ലെ ഒരു ട്രെയിൻ യാത്രയ്ക്കിടെ ജോജോ കാണാനിടയായി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിൽ നിന്ന് സ്ക്രീൻ റീഡർ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയെ പറ്റി പഠിച്ചു. അതുപയോഗിച്ചാണ് പുസ്തകം തയ്യാറാക്കിയത്. പിന്നീട് പുസ്തകം എഴുതാനുള്ള തത്രപ്പാടായി. അതിന് പ്രോത്സാഹനമായി നിന്ന ഭാര്യ വിടപറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ കൂടെനിൽക്കാൻ ബന്ധുക്കളെത്തി. പുസ്തകത്തിൻറെ പേര് ആൽഫാ ക്ലാസ്സ് റൂം ടീച്ചിംഗ് ബിയോണ്ട് ബൗണ്ടറിസ്. 

അങ്ങനെ ഒരു കുടുംബം മുഴുവൻ കൂടെ നിന്നപ്പോൾ ജീവിതത്തിലെത്തിയ വെളിച്ചത്തിലാണ് ആ അക്ഷരങ്ങൾ കടലാസിൽ തെളിഞ്ഞത്.
