വാഹനങ്ങളുമായി റോഡിൽ അഭ്യാസം കാണിക്കാതെ ട്രാക്കിലേക്ക് വരൂ.  കോട്ടയത്ത് വമ്പൻ ഓഫ് റോഡ് ചാംപ്യൻഷിപ്പ് നടക്കുകയാണ്. പാത്താമുട്ടത്ത് മലയാള മനോരമ ഫാസ്റ്റ്ട്രാക്കും സെന്റ് ഗിറ്റ്സ് എൻജിനീയറിങ് കോളജും ചേർന്നാണ്.  ഓഫ് ട്രാക്ക് ചാലഞ്ച് എന്ന പേരിൽ മത്സരം. ഇന്ന് വൈകിട്ട് സമാപിക്കും.

ചെളിയിൽകുത്തി മറിഞ്ഞ് ചീറിപ്പായുന്ന കൊമ്പന്മാർ.  കുറഞ്ഞ സമയം കൊണ്ട് കൂടുതൽ വേഗത്തിൽ പറയുന്ന സാഹസികത. കേരളത്തിന് പുറത്തുനിന്നുള്ളത് ഉൾപ്പെടെ 27 വാഹനങ്ങളാണ് ആദ്യദിവസം ട്രാക്കിലെ താരങ്ങളായത്. ജിംനി, ജിപ്സി, എസ്‌യുവി ക്ലാസുകളിലാണ്  മത്സരങ്ങൾ നടന്നത്. ലേഡീസ് ക്ലാസ് മത്സരവും ബിഗനേഴ്സ്, ഫാസ്റ്റ്ട്രാക്ക് ചാംപ്യൻ, ഫിഡിൽ ബ്രേക്ക്, റിയർ സ്റ്റിയറിങ് തുടങ്ങിയ ക്ലാസുകളിലായി അറുപതിലേറെ വാഹനങ്ങളും മത്സരത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്.

മലയാള മനോരമ ഫാസ്റ്റ്ട്രാക്കിനൊപ്പം സെന്റ് ഗിറ്റ്സ് എൻജിനീയറിങ് കോളജിലെ മെക്കാനിക്കൽ ഡിപ്പാർട്മെന്‍റും 'ഓഫ്ട്രാക്ക് ചാലഞ്ചിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായി.  ചാണ്ടി ഉമ്മൻ  എംഎൽഎയാണ്  ഫ്ളാഗ് ഓഫ് ചെയ്തത്.  വാഹനങ്ങളുമായി റോഡിൽ അഭ്യാസം കാണിക്കാതെ ട്രാക്കിലേക്ക് വരു എന്നതാണ് സന്ദേശം. 

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

A major Off-Road Championship, named 'Off Track Challenge,' is being held in Kottayam at Pathamuttam, organized by Malayala Manorama Fasttrack and St. Gits College of Engineering. The event, which concludes this evening, features vehicles like Jeep, Gypsy, and SUVs tackling a challenging muddy track with speed and skill. The first day saw 27 vehicles, including those from outside Kerala, competing. Over 60 vehicles are participating across various categories, including Ladies Class, Beginners, Fasttrack Champion, Fiddle Brake, and Rear Steering. The Mechanical Department of St. Gits College is also involved. MLA Chandy Oommen flagged off the event, conveying the message: "Stop performing stunts on roads and come to the track."
