പ്രസവം കഴിഞ്ഞു ആശുപത്രിയിൽ നിന്നും വീട്ടിലെത്തിയ യുവതിയെ മദ്യപിച്ചെത്തിയ ഭർത്താവ് ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നെന്ന വിവരം അയൽക്കാരാണ് ചവറ പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ അറിയിച്ചത്. പൊലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് സാഹചര്യം കൂടുതല്‍ വഷളാണെന്ന് മനസിലാക്കിയത്. ഇത് രണ്ടാമത്തെ പ്രസവമാണ്. ആദ്യകുഞ്ഞിന് 11 മാസം മാത്രമാണ് പ്രായം. 

ഭർത്താവും, ഭർത്താവിന്റെ അച്ഛനും തന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കാറുണ്ടെന്നും, തനിക്ക് ഇനി അവർക്കൊപ്പം തുടരാൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്നും യുവതി സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയ പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരോട് പറഞ്ഞു. ‍അതിനൊപ്പം പ്രസവിച്ചു ആറു ദിവസം മാത്രമായ കുഞ്ഞിനേയും കൂടി പരിചരിക്കാൻ യുവതിക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. 

പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ അമ്മയെയും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിച്ചു. രണ്ട് കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ക്കും സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥമാര്‍ അമ്മമാരായി.  സ്റ്റേഷനിലേയും പിങ്ക് പൊലീസിലെ വനിതാ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ കുഞ്ഞിനെ കുളിപ്പിച്ച് ആവശ്യമായ പരിചരണം നൽകി. 

കുഞ്ഞുടുപ്പും, കുഞ്ഞിനാവശ്യമായ മറ്റ് സാധനങ്ങളും വാങ്ങി നൽകി അമ്മയെയും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും വനിതാ ശിശു സംരക്ഷണ സ്ഥാപനത്തിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. യുവതിയുടെ പരാതിയിന്മേൽ കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിഡിയോ സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളില്‍ വൈറലായതോടെ പൊലീസിന് അഭിനന്ദന പ്രവാഹമാണ്.
