തൃശ്ശൂരിൽ ഡി.വൈ.എഫ്.ഐ സംസ്ഥാന സമ്മേളനത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായി  അവതരിപ്പിച്ച നാടകത്തെച്ചൊല്ലി വിവാദം. നാടകത്തിനിടയിലെ ഡാന്‍സ് അശ്ലീലമാണെന്ന് സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളില്‍ ഒരുവിഭാഗം  ആരോപിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ഭരണകൂട ഭീകരതയില്‍ തുറങ്കിലടയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ട നാടകപ്രവര്‍ത്തയുടെ ദുരിതം അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന രംഗത്തെയാണ് തെറ്റായി വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് നാടകപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും ഡി.വൈ.എഫ്.ഐ നേതൃത്വവും പ്രതികരിച്ചു. നാടകത്തെ സമഗ്രതയില്‍  ആസ്വദിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാതെ ലൈംഗികദാരിദ്ര്യം അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന കപടസദാചാരവാദികളാണ് നാടകരംഗത്തെ വിമര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് സംവിധായകന്‍ ജോയ് മാത്യു പ്രതികരിച്ചു

അതേസമയം,  നാടകം അടിയന്തരാവസ്ഥക്കാലത്തെ പീഡനത്തിന്റെ കഥയാണെന്നും ആവിഷ്കാര സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടണമെന്നുമാണ് ഡിവൈഎഫ്ഐയുടെ മറുപടി. സദാചാരക്കണ്ണടയിലൂടെ നോക്കുന്നവരാണ് വിമര്‍ശിക്കുന്നത്. ശ്രമം അടിയന്തരാവസ്ഥ  പീഡനങ്ങളെ മറയ്ക്കുക എന്നതാണ് അത്തരക്കാരുടെ ലക്ഷ്യമെന്നും വി.കെ.സനോജ് പറഞ്ഞു.
