തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോർപ്പറേഷൻ ഭരണസമിതിക്കെതിരെ യുഡിഎഫ് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന അവിശ്വാസത്തെ എൽഡിഎഫ് പിന്തുണയ്ക്കില്ലെന്ന് സൂചന. യുഡിഎഫ് ഇത്തരമൊരു ആവശ്യവുമായി സമീപിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നും നയപരമായ തീരുമാനമെടുത്തിട്ടില്ലെന്നും ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറി വി.ജോയ് പറഞ്ഞു. ബിജെപി ഭരണസമിതിക്കെതിരെ ആര് അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം കൊണ്ടുവന്നാലും എതിർക്കേണ്ടതില്ല എന്നായിരുന്നു ഇന്നലെ വി.ശിവൻകുട്ടി പറഞ്ഞത്. എന്നാല് നിലവിൽ അത്തരമൊരു കാര്യം പാർട്ടിയുടെ പരിഗണനയിൽ ഇല്ലെന്ന് വി.ജോയ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഭരണസമിതിക്കെതിരെ യുഡിഎഫ് സമരരംഗത്ത് ഇല്ലെന്നും ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.
അതേസമയം അവിശ്വാസ ചർച്ചയ്ക്കുള്ള സാധ്യത എൽഡിഎഫ് നിഷേധിക്കുന്നതിന് കാരണം എൽഡിഎഫും ബിജെപിയും തമ്മിലുള്ള ധാരണയാണെന്ന് യുഡിഎഫ് കൗൺസിലർ കെ.എസ്.ശബരിനാഥൻ ആരോപിച്ചു. അവിശ്വാസം പരാജയപ്പെടുമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ മേയർ യുഡിഎഫിൻ്റെ അവിശ്വാസ നിക്കത്തെ പരിഹസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യുഡിഎഫ് വിമതനായ സുധീഷിനെ കൂടെക്കൂട്ടി ഭൂരിപക്ഷം ഉറപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിലാണ് ബിജെപി.
