നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനായുള്ള ഒരുക്കങ്ങള്‍ പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ പുതുപ്പള്ളി ഉൾപ്പെടെ 8 സീറ്റുകളിൽ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികളെ നിശ്ചയിക്കാൻ സിപിഎമ്മിനായില്ലെന്ന് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. ഇന്നലെ ചേർന്ന സംസ്ഥാന സമിതിയിൽ ഈ സീറ്റുകളിൽ ഒഴികെയുള്ള സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികളെയാണ് അംഗീകരിച്ചത്. കോൺഗ്രസിന്റെ സിറ്റിങ് സീറ്റുകളായ പുതുപ്പള്ളി, പാലക്കാട്, എറണാകുളം,തൃക്കാക്കര, വണ്ടൂർ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും മുസ്​ലിം ലീഗിന്‍റെ ശക്തികേന്ദ്രമായ പെരിന്തൽമണ്ണ, തിരൂർ, കൊണ്ടോട്ടി എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലുമാണ് സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികളെ ഇനിയും കണ്ടെത്തേണ്ടത്. ഇതിനായുള്ള ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറിയേറ്റ് യോഗങ്ങൾ ഇന്നുമുതൽ നടക്കും.

പുതുപ്പള്ളിയിൽ പാർട്ടി സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി വരും എന്നാണ് നേതൃത്വം നൽകുന്ന സൂചന. എന്നാല്‍ പാലക്കാട് സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി കോൺഗ്രസ് പട്ടികയക്ക് ശേഷം മാത്രമായിരിക്കും അന്തിമമാക്കുക. പൊതു സ്വതന്ത്രനെയാണ് പാലക്കാട് തേടുന്നത്. പൊതുസ്വതന്ത്രനെ കിട്ടിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ പാർട്ടി ചിഹ്നത്തിൽ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി വരുമെന്നും നേതാക്കള്‍ സൂചന നല്‍കുന്നു.
