കുന്നത്തുനാട്ടിൽ ഇത്തവണ എൻഡിഎയ്ക്ക് ട്വന്റി 20 സ്ഥാനാർഥി. ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച ധാരണ എൻഡിഎയിൽ ആയിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. സ്ഥാനാർഥികാര്യവും മുന്നണിപ്രവേശവും ഉൾപ്പടെ ചർച്ച ചെയ്യാൻ ഇന്ന് കൊച്ചിയിൽ ട്വന്റി 20 സംസ്ഥാന നേതൃയോഗം ചേരും. സംവരണമണ്ഡലമായ കുന്നത്തുനാട്ടിൽ നിലവിൽ ഇടതുമുന്നണിയുടെ പി.വി.ശ്രീനിജിൻ ആണ് എംഎൽഎ. 2021 ൽ കോൺഗ്രസിലെ വി.പി.സജീന്ദ്രനെ ശ്രീനിജൻ തോൽപ്പിച്ചത് 2715 വോട്ടിന്. അന്ന് ട്വന്റി ട്വന്റി പിടിച്ചത് 41,890 വോട്ടുകൾ. എൻ ഡി എ കുന്നത്തുനാട്ടിൽ 2021ൽ നാലാം സ്ഥാനത്തായി. ഇത്തവണ ട്വന്റി 20 വോട്ടുകൾക്കൊപ്പം കഴിഞ്ഞവട്ടത്തെ എൻഡിഎ വോട്ടുകൾ കൂടി കൂട്ടുമ്പോൾ ശരിക്കും എൻഡി എ മുന്നണിയുടെ കണ്ണ് മഞ്ഞളിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. അതു നോക്കി അവർ ഇല്ലാത്ത സ്വപ്നങ്ങളും കാണുന്നു. 

വരുന്ന തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ സ്വാധീനശക്തിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ട്വന്റി 20 സീറ്റ് ഉറപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ അനുയോജ്യനായ സ്ഥാനാർഥിയെ ഇനിയും കിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ല. സ്ഥാനാർഥിയെ തേടിയുള്ള നെട്ടോട്ടത്തിലാണ് കിഴക്കമ്പലം പാർട്ടി. ട്വന്റി 20ൽ നിന്ന് വ്യാപകമായി അണികൾ കൊഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ എല്ലാവർക്കും സമ്മതനായ സ്ഥാനാർഥിയെ ആണ് തേടുന്നത്. ഒപ്പം ഇരുമുന്നണികൾക്കെതിരെയും വിമർശനവും ഉന്നയിക്കുന്നു.

അതേസമയം, കിഴക്കമ്പലത്ത് ട്വന്റി 20 ഏതാണ്ട് ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞുവെന്നതാണ് വാസ്തവം. ട്വന്റി 20യുടെ ശക്തി ക്ഷയിച്ചതോടെ കുന്നത്തുനാട്ടിൽ ജയിച്ചുകയറാം എന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയിലാണ് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്. സ്ഥാനാർഥിപട്ടികയിലെ ഏക പേരുകാരൻ വി.പി. സജീന്ദ്രൻ പ്രവർത്തനം തുടങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. എൽഡിഎഫിൽ നിന്ന് പി.വി.ശ്രീനിജൻ മത്സരിക്കും എന്ന കാര്യവും ഉറപ്പാണ്. ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങൾ ട്വന്റി 20യെ കൈവിട്ട നിലയ്ക്ക് പഴയ സ്വാധീനം ഉണ്ടാകില്ല എന്ന് മനസിലാക്കി തീവ്രശ്രമത്തിലാണ് ഇടതും വലതും.
