പാര്‍ട്ടി പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ മല്‍സരിക്കുമെന്നും പൂഞ്ഞാറാണ് ഇഷ്ടമെന്നും ബിജെപി നേതാവ് പി.സി. ജോര്‍ജ്. മകന്‍ ഷോണ്‍ ജോര്‍ജ് പാലായില്‍ മല്‍സരിക്കണമെന്നാണ് അഭിപ്രായം. പാലായില്‍‌ പതിനായിരം വോട്ടിന്‍റെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തില്‍ ഷോണ്‍ ജയിക്കുമെന്നും ജോസ് കെ.മാണി മൂന്നാമതെത്തുമെന്നും പി.സി. ജോര്‍ജ് മനോരമ ന്യൂസിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. 

പാലായിൽ 10,000 വോട്ടിന്റെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തിൽ ഷോൺ ജയിക്കുമെന്നും ജോസ് കെ. മാണി അവിടെ മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് തള്ളപ്പെടുമെന്നുമാണ് ജോർജ്ജിന്റെ പ്രവചനം. മാണി സി. കാപ്പൻ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തുമെന്നും പി.സി.ജോര്‍ജ് പറയുന്നു. പഴയ പൂഞ്ഞാർ മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ ആറ് പഞ്ചായത്തുകൾ ഇപ്പോൾ പാലായുടെ ഭാഗമായതിനാൽ ഷോണിന് അവിടെ വലിയ സ്വാധീനമുണ്ടെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം അവകാശപ്പെട്ടു. 

യുവാക്കൾ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്നുവരണമെന്നാണ് തന്റെ ആഗ്രഹമെന്നും 35 വർഷം എംഎൽഎ ആയിരുന്ന തനിക്ക് ഇനിയും മത്സരിക്കണമെന്ന് നിർബന്ധമില്ലെന്നും പാർട്ടി തീരുമാനം അനുസരിക്കുമെന്നും പി.സി. ജോർജ് കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

Highlighting electoral dynamics, he pointed out that six panchayats from the former Poonjar constituency are now part of Pala, giving Shaun a strong advantage. P.C. George also emphasized the need for greater youth participation in politics. After serving as an MLA for 35 years, he said there is no compulsion for him to contest again.
