കുതിച്ചുയരുന്ന സവാളവില പിടിച്ചുനിർത്താൻ സർക്കാർ ഇടപെടൽ. 100 ടൺ സവാള ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് കൃഷിമന്ത്രി ടി.സിദ്ധിഖ് അറിയിച്ചു. കിലോയ്ക്ക് 35 രൂപയ്ക്കാകും സവാള ലഭ്യമാക്കുക. സപ്ലൈകോയും ഹോർട്ടികോർപ്പും ചേർന്ന് വിതരണം ഉറപ്പാക്കും.
കോൾഡ് സ്റ്റോറേജ് സൗകര്യം ഉൾപ്പെടെ ലഭ്യമാക്കാൻ നടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ബോധപൂർവം വില കൂട്ടാനായി ശ്രമം നടത്തിയാൽ ശക്തമായി നേരിടുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. നിലവിൽ കിലോയ്ക്ക് 58 രൂപ മുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക് സവാളയുടെ വില ഉയർന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. നാസിക് ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള മേഖലകളിൽ സവാള ഉൽപാദനം കുറഞ്ഞത് രാജ്യത്താകമാനം വിലക്കയറ്റത്തിന് വഴിവച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും കൃഷിമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
