സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഗുരുതര വൈദ്യുതി പ്രതിസന്ധിയും പരിഹാര നിർദേശങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന സമഗ്രമായ റിപ്പോർട്ട് മന്ത്രി സണ്ണി ജോസഫ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്ക് കൈമാറും. കെ.എസ്.ഇ.ബി ചെയർമാൻ എം.ജി രാജമാണിക്യം തയാറാക്കിയ റിപ്പോർട്ടിൽ ആണവനിലയ സാധ്യതയും, പുതിയ ജലവൈദ്യുത പദ്ധതികളുടെ വിവരങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. അടുത്ത പത്ത് വർഷത്തെ വൈദ്യുതി ലഭ്യതയും സോളർ വഴിയുള്ള സ്വയം പര്യാപ്തത നിർദേശങ്ങളുമുണ്ട്.
കടുത്ത വൈദ്യുതി പ്രതിസന്ധി മറികടക്കാനുള്ള നടപടികൾ വേഗത്തിലാക്കുകയാണ് പഠന റിപ്പോർട്ടിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം. കടുത്ത ഊർജ പ്രതിസന്ധിയിൽ ഇന്നലെയും രാത്രികാല വൈദ്യുതി നിയന്ത്രണമുണ്ടായി. വൈകീട്ട് 6.45 നും രാത്രി പത്തിനുമിടയിലായിരുന്നു നിയന്ത്രണം. മഴ കനക്കുന്നതും കേന്ദ്ര വിഹിത വൈദ്യുതി ലഭ്യത കൂടുന്നതും വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിലെ വൈദ്യുതി പ്രതിസന്ധി മറികടക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കുമെന്നാണ് കെ.എസ്.ഇ.ബി വിലയിരുത്തൽ.
KSEB Drafts Action Plan With Nuclear & Hydroelectric Proposals:
To address Kerala's severe power crisis, Electricity Minister Sunny Joseph will submit a comprehensive study report prepared by KSEB Chairman M.G. Rajamanickam to the Chief Minister. The report highlights potential solutions including the feasibility of nuclear power plants, new hydroelectric projects, and strategies to achieve solar energy self-sufficiency over the next decade. While night-time power restrictions between 6:45 PM and 10:00 PM were implemented due to the acute energy shortage, KSEB aims to expedite relief measures through these proposed interventions. Officials anticipate that increased central power allocations and stronger monsoon rainfall will soon help ease the state's ongoing power supply challenges.
