ഇടുക്കി നിയമസഭാ മണ്ഡലത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ച് രണ്ടുതവണ നിയമസഭയിലെത്തിയ ജോസ് കുറ്റ്യാനി നിയമസഭ പെറ്റിഷൻ കമ്മറ്റി ചെയർമാനായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കൂടാതെ ഇടുക്കി ജില്ല രൂപീകരിച്ച ശേഷമുള്ള ആദ്യ ഡിസി പ്രസിഡന്റ് ആയിരുന്നു. എഐസിസി, കെപിസിസി നിർവാഹകസമതി അംഗമായും ദീർഘനാൾ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.
