ആറന്മുള ഉത്തൃട്ടാതി ജലമേളയിൽ എ ബാച്ചിൽ മേലുകര പള്ളിയോടത്തിന് തുടർച്ചയായ രണ്ടാംജയം. ബി ബാച്ചിൽ കോറ്റാത്തൂർ കൈതക്കോടി ഹാട്രിക് വിജയം നേടി. ഉപരാഷ്ട്രപതി സിപി രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ ആണ് ഇത്തവണ വള്ളംകളി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത്. എ ബാച്ചിൽ 35 പള്ളിയോടങ്ങളിൽ മേലുകര, കോയിപ്രം, മല്ലപ്പുഴശ്ശേരി ഇടയാറൻമുള കിഴക്ക് പള്ളിയോടങ്ങൾ ഫൈനലിൽ എത്തി. അവസാന വട്ട  ആവേശത്തുഴച്ചിലിൽ മേലുകര  മന്നംട്രോഫി ജേതാക്കളായി.

ബി ബാച്ചിൽ  തോട്ടപ്പുഴശ്ശേരി മംഗലം വന്മഴി  പള്ളിയോടങ്ങളെ  പിന്നിലാക്കിയാണ്  കോറ്റാത്തൂർ കൈതക്കോടി ഹാട്രിക്കടിച്ചത്. വിജയികൾക്ക് ഒപ്പം ആഘോഷവുമായി ആറന്മുള എംഎൽഎ അബിൻ വർക്കിയും എത്തി.

ഉപരാഷ്ട്രപതി സിപി രാധാകൃഷ്ണനായിരുന്നു ജലമേള നിലവിളക്ക് കൊളുത്തി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തതും  ജല ഘോഷയാത്ര ഫ്ലാഗ് ഓഫ് ചെയ്തതും. ആറന്മുളയുടെയും പമ്പയുടെയും ശബരിമലയുടെയും പള്ളിയോടങ്ങളുടെയും മഹിമ എടുത്തു പറഞ്ഞായിരുന്നു ഉപരാഷ്ട്രപതിയുടെ പ്രസംഗം. പള്ളിയോടങ്ങളുടെ വർണ്ണാഭമായ ജല ഘോഷയാത്രയ്ക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് മത്സരങ്ങൾ നടന്നത്. ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രി രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല മന്ത്രിമാരായ മോൻസ് ജോസഫ്, റോജി എം ജോൺ. തുടങ്ങിയവരും പങ്കെടുത്തു.

The famous Aranmula Uthrattathi Boat Race concluded with Melukara Palliyodam clinching the prestigious Mannam Trophy for the second consecutive year in the 'A' Batch category. In the 'B' Batch competition, Kotthathoor Kaithakkodi secured a remarkable hat-trick victory by outpacing Thottappuzhassery, Mangalam, and Vanmazhi Palliyodams. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan inaugurated the grand event by lighting the traditional lamp and flagging off the colorful water pageant. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from dignitaries, including Aranmula MLA Abin Varkey and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, celebrating alongside the triumphant teams.
