മഞ്ഞ കാർഡുകാർക്ക് ഓണക്കിറ്റ് അടുത്തമാസം 10 മുതൽ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് ഭക്ഷ്യമന്ത്രി അനൂപ് ജേക്കബ്. കിറ്റ് നൽകുന്ന തുണി സഞ്ചി ഉൾപ്പെടെ 16 ഇനങ്ങൾ അടങ്ങിയതാണ് കിറ്റ്. ഓണച്ചന്തകളുടെ സംസ്ഥാനതല ഉദ്ഘാടനം ഓഗസ്റ്റ് എട്ടിന് നടക്കും.
12 മുതൽ ജില്ലാ തലങ്ങളിലും ശേഷം നിയോജകമണ്ഡലം തലങ്ങളിലും ഓണച്ചന്തകൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കും. 13 സബ്സിഡി ഇനങ്ങൾ ഓണച്ചന്തകളിലും സപ്ലൈകോ ഔട്ട്ലെറ്റുകളിലും ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തും. അരിവിലക്കയറ്റം നേരിടാൻ സപ്ലൈകോ ഔട്ട്ലെറ്റുകളും റേഷൻ കടകളും വഴി തുച്ഛമായ വിലക്ക് അരിവിതരണം നടത്തുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
