പിറവത്തെ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്ത നാലംഗകുടുംബത്തിലെ നാലാമത്തെ മൃതദേഹവും കിട്ടി. മൂത്തമകള്‍ ഒന്‍പതു വയസുകാരി അന്നയുടെ മൃതദേഹമാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഐഎന്‍ടിയുസി ‌കടവില്‍ നിന്നാണ് മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. കുടുംബത്തെ മൂന്നുപേരുടെ മൃതദേഹം നേരത്തേ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു.

വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ടാണ് മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ പായിപ്ര സ്വദേശി വിജിമോളുടേയും രണ്ട് വയസുള്ള മകന്റെയും മൃതദേഹങ്ങൾ പുഴയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. മുളക്കുളം പാലത്തിന് സമീപത്തുവച്ചാണ് ഇരുവരുടെയും മൃതദേഹം നാട്ടുകാര്‍ കണ്ടെത്തയിത്. പിന്നാലെ ഇന്നലെ ഉച്ചയോടെ ആറ്റുതീരം പാർക്കിനു സമീപം വിജിമോളുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താവ് നെന്മാറ സ്വദേശി നാരായണന്‍റെ മൃതദേഹവും കണ്ടെത്തി. മൂത്തമകള്‍ക്കായി തിരച്ചില്‍ നടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഒടുവിലാണ് മൂത്തമകളുടെ മൃതദേഹം ഇന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. 

ചെറുവട്ടൂരിൽ വാടക വീട്ടിലാണ് കുടുംബം കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നത്. സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രതിസന്ധി കാരണം കുട്ടികൾക്കൊപ്പം മാതാപിതാക്കൾ പുഴയിൽ ചാടിയതെന്നാണു പൊലീസ് നിഗമനം. മരണദിവസം ഇവര്‍ നാലുപേരും പിറവത്തെ കുട്ടികളുടെ പാര്‍ക്കിലെത്തിയതിന്‍റെയും ഹോട്ടലില്‍ നിന്ന് ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചതിന്‍റെയും സിസിടിവി ദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്തുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ ഇന്‍ക്വസ്റ്റ് നടപടികള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം പിറവം താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിലേയ്ക്ക് മാറ്റി.

The recovery operations following a heartbreaking mass suicide in Piravom concluded today after rescue teams located the body of the fourth family member, nine-year-old Anna. The young girl's body was tracked down at the local INTUC Kadavu after an intensive search operation across the river basin. The ongoing tragedy first unfolded on Friday evening when local residents spotted the bodies of thirty-five-year-old mother Vijimol and her two-year-old son floating near the Mulakulam bridge. Following a continuous search, the body of her husband, Narayanan, a native of Nenmara, was recovered yesterday afternoon near the Aattutheeram Park area. According to preliminary police investigations, the family, who had been residing in a rented house in Cheruvattoor, took this extreme step due to severe financial distress. Surveillance footage has since emerged showing the family spending their final hours together at a children's park and a local restaurant in Piravom before heading to the river.
