തിരുവനന്തപുരം  പേട്ടയിലെ റെയിൽവേ ആശുപത്രിയിൽനിന്ന് വെടിയുണ്ടകൾ കണ്ടെത്തി. ആശുപത്രിയിലെ ഒരു മഗ്ഗിനുള്ളിൽ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച നിലയിലായിരുന്നു വെടിയുണ്ടകൾ. ഒൻപത് എംഎം വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെടുന്ന ഏഴ് വെടിയുണ്ടകളാണ് കണ്ടെടുത്തത്. വഞ്ചിയൂർ പൊലീസും ആര്‍പിഎഫും വിശദമായ പരിശോധന നടത്തി. വെടിയുണ്ടകൾ നിലവിൽ വഞ്ചിയൂർ പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. 

വെടിയുണ്ടകൾ ആരെങ്കിലും ബോധപൂർവം ആശുപത്രിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് വച്ചതാണോയെന്ന കാര്യവും പൊലീസ് പരിശോധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സായുധ സേനകളും പൊലീസും സാധാരണയായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഒൻപത് എം.എം വിഭാഗത്തിലുള്ള വെടിയുണ്ടകളാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയതെന്നത് സംഭവത്തിന്റെ ഗൗരവം വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഇവയ്ക്ക് ഏതെങ്കിലും ക്രിമിനൽ സംഘങ്ങളുമായി ബന്ധമുണ്ടോയെന്നും പരിശോധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ആശുപത്രി ജീവനക്കാരെയും സുരക്ഷാ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെയും പൊലീസ് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു. 

ഇതിന് പുറമെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ എത്തിയ രോഗികളുടെയും സന്ദർശകരുടെയും വിവരങ്ങൾ പൊലീസ് ശേഖരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.ആർ.പി.എഫും പൊലീസും സംയുക്തമായാണ് കേസ് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നത്.
