യുണൈറ്റഡ് നഴ്സസ് അസോസിയേഷൻ ഫണ്ട് തട്ടിപ്പ് കേസിൽ ജാസ്മിൻ ഷായുടെയും കൂട്ടാളികളുടെയും 1.44 കോടിയുടെ സ്വത്തുക്കൾ ഇ.ഡി കണ്ടുകെട്ടി. ജാസ്മിൻ ഷാ, ഭാര്യ ഷബ്ന, യു.എൻ.എയുടെ മുൻ ഭാരവാഹികൾ എന്നിവരുടെ സ്വത്തുക്കളാണ് കണ്ടുകെട്ടിയത്.
മലപ്പുറം, പാലക്കാട്, തൃശൂർ, ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലകളിലായുള്ള ഭൂമിയും ഫ്ലാറ്റുമാണ് കണ്ടുകെട്ടിയതിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നത്. 2017–2019 കാലയളവിൽ യു.എൻ.എ ദേശീയ അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്ന ജാസ്മിൻ ഷാ മറ്റ് ഭാരവാഹികളുമായി ചേർന്ന് നടത്തിയ തട്ടിപ്പിലാണ് നടപടി. നഴ്സുമാരിൽ നിന്ന് പിരിച്ചെടുത്ത മെമ്പർഷിപ്പ് ലെവിയും മറ്റ് ഫണ്ടുകളും വ്യാപകമായി ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്തുവെന്നാണ് കണ്ടെത്തൽ.
ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച് റജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത കേസിന്റെയും, തൃശൂർ സിജെഎം കോടതിയിൽ സമർപ്പിച്ച കുറ്റപത്രത്തിന്റെയും അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ഇ.ഡി അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. അന്വേഷണം പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണെന്നും, വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ കൂടുതൽ നടപടികൾ ഉണ്ടായേക്കാമെന്നും ഇ.ഡി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

The Enforcement Directorate has attached assets worth ₹1.44 crore belonging to United Nurses Association leader Jasmin Shah and his associates in connection with the UNA fund misappropriation case. The attached properties include land and a flat located in Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, and Idukki districts. The alleged financial irregularities took place between 2017 and 2019 when Jasmin Shah served as the National President of the UNA. Investigators found that membership levies and other funds collected from nurses were widely misused.The ED initiated the probe based on a case registered by the Crime Branch and the charge sheet submitted before the Thrissur CJM Court. Authorities say the investigation is still in progress and more action could follow.
