A high-ranking police official allegedly gave verbal permission for the shoot, bypassing official protocols. Following the incident, the Forest Department has registered a case against the director for unauthorized entry into forest land. The Devaswom Board President had earlier stated that formal permission was denied due to strict High Court regulations. This report is expected to be submitted to the Kerala High Court for further legal scrutiny. The controversy erupted after visuals of the film crew at the base camp went viral during the busy pilgrimage season. Authorities are now investigating the role of officials who facilitated the shoot without written authorization. Strict actions are being contemplated to prevent such security lapses in the future.
