പാലക്കാട് എംഎല്എ രാഹുല് മാങ്കൂട്ടത്തിലിനെതിരായ കേസില് ബലാല്സംഗക്കുറ്റം നിലനില്ക്കുമെന്ന് തിരുവല്ല ജുഡീഷ്യൽ ഫസ്റ്റ് ക്ലാസ് മജിസ്ട്രേട്ട് കോടതി. ബന്ധം ഉഭയസമ്മതപ്രകാരമെന്ന രാഹുലിന്റെ വാദം നിലനില്ക്കില്ല. അന്വേഷണത്തോട് രാഹുല് ഇതുവരെ സഹകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നും ജാമ്യം നല്കിയാല് ഇരയുടെ ജീവന് അപകടത്തിലാക്കുമെന്നും കോടതി പറഞ്ഞു. ഗൗരവതരമായ പരാതിയാണ് രാഹുലിനെതിരെയുള്ളതെന്നും നേരത്തെയും സമാന കേസുകളില് പ്രതിയാണ് രാഹുലെന്നും കോടതി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. സാക്ഷികളെ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്താനും തെളിവുകള് നശിപ്പിക്കാനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നും രാഹുലിന്റെ ജാമ്യഹര്ജി തള്ളി ജഡ്ജി അരുന്ധതി ദിലീപ് പറഞ്ഞു.
