ഉജ്ജയിന് കുഭമേളയ്ക്കൊപ്പം കേരളത്തിലും കുംഭമേള നടത്താന് പദ്ധതി. ജനുവരി 18 മുതൽ ഫെബ്രുവരി 3 വരെ തിരുനാവായ നാവാ മുകുന്ദ ക്ഷേത്ര സമക്ഷം ഭാരതപ്പുഴയിൽ ആദ്യ സംഗമം നടക്കും. 250 വർഷം മുൻപ് നടന്ന മാഘ സംഗമത്തിന്റെ തുടർച്ചയാകും കേരളത്തിലെ കുംഭമേള . സംഘാടക സമിതിയുടെ ആദ്യ യോഗം ഈ മാസം 23ന് ചേരും. മഹാ കുംഭമേളകളുടെ സംഘാടകരും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സന്യാസ പരമ്പരകളിലൊന്നുമായ ജുന അഖാഡയാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ കുംഭമേളയുടെ പിന്നണിയിലും. നടത്തിപ്പിനായി ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡുകളുടെയും സർക്കാരിന്റെയും സഹായം തേടുമെന്ന് ജുന അഖാഡ മഹാ മണ്ഡലേശ്വർ സ്വാമി ആനന്ദവനം ഭാരതി മനോരമ ന്യൂസിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. രാജ്യത്തെ പ്രധാന സന്യാസ പരമ്പരകള് കേരളത്തിലെ കുംഭമേളയിലും പങ്കെടുക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

Kerala is set to host its own 'Kumbh Mela' (Magha Sangamam) on the banks of the Bharathapuzha river near the Thirunavaya Nava Mukunda Temple, running from January 18 to February 3. This event is a continuation of the Magha Sangamam held 250 years ago. The organization is backed by Juna Akhada, one of the largest monastic orders and organizers of the major Kumbh Melas in India. They will seek assistance from the Devaswom Boards and the state government for the event, which is expected to draw major Sanyasi orders.
