പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിൽ നിപ വൈറസ് ബാധിച്ച് ഒരാൾ മരിച്ച സംഭവത്തിൽ സമ്പര്‍ക്കപ്പട്ടിക ആശങ്ക ഉയർത്തുന്നു. മരിച്ച വയോധികൻ കൂടുതലും യാത്ര ചെയ്തത് കെ.എസ്.ആർ.ടി.സി. ബസിലാണെന്നതാണ് ആശങ്ക. ഇതുവരെ 46 പേരാണ് ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പിന്റെ സമ്പര്‍ക്കപ്പട്ടികയിലുള്ളത്.

നിപ ബാധിച്ച് മരിച്ചയാളുടെ പേരക്കുട്ടികൾ പഠിക്കുന്ന സ്കൂൾ താൽക്കാലികമായി അടച്ചു. കൂടാതെ, മരിച്ചയാൾ ചികിത്സ തേടിയ മൂന്ന് ആശുപത്രികളിലെ ജീവനക്കാരും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. സമ്പർക്കപ്പട്ടിക വിപുലമായതിനാൽ ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പ് അതീവ ജാഗ്രതയിലാണ്.

Health officials have identified 46 individuals on the contact list, and his grandchildren's school has been temporarily shut down.
