മാഞ്ഞാലി–മനയ്ക്കപ്പടി റോഡിലെ കുഴിയിൽ വീണ് പഞ്ചഗുസ്തി താരം മിലൻ ബേബിയുടെ തോളെല്ല് പൊട്ടി. ജൽജീവൻ പദ്ധതിക്ക് പൈപ്പിടുന്നതിനായി റോഡ് കുത്തിപ്പൊളിച്ചതാണ് അപകടകാരണം.
അപകടത്തിൽ ഗുരുതരമായി പരുക്കേറ്റ മിലൻ ബേബിയെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. റോഡിലെ കുഴികൾ മൂലം കാൽനടയാത്രക്കാർക്കും വാഹനയാത്രക്കാർക്കും ഏറെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണ് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നത്.

National wrestling athlete Milan Baby sustained a serious shoulder fracture after falling into a pit on the Manjali–Manaykkapady road.
