ENGLISH SUMMARY:
Attempt to smuggle 5.5 kg of hydro cannabis through Kochi airport to Ras Al Khaimah foiled. A native of Malappuram, who arrived to board an IndiGo flight, was taken into custody by the Customs Preventive Department. This is the first time hydro cannabis smuggling has been detected from Kochi. Initial indications suggest it was brought from Thailand.
