ബിഹാര്‍ പാടലിപുത്ര റെയില്‍വേ സ്റ്റേഷനില്‍ ഉദ്യോഗാർഥികളുടെ പ്രതിഷേധവും പിന്നാലെ സംഘര്‍ഷവും. ബിഹാർ പൊലീസ് പരീക്ഷ എഴുതാൻ പോയ ഉദ്യോഗാർഥികളാണ് റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ അടിച്ച് തകർത്തത്. ആവശ്യമായ ട്രെയിൻ സൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കിയില്ലെന്ന് ആരോപിച്ചായിരുന്നു പ്രതിഷേധം. ആക്രമണത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ട്രെയിൻ ഗതാഗതം തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടു.

പരീക്ഷാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലേക്കുള്ള വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ക്ക് പോകേണ്ടിയുരുന്ന നിരവധി ട്രെയിനുകൾ മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം വൈകിയതിനെ തുടർന്നാണ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ നാടകീയ രംഗങ്ങൾ അരങ്ങേറിയത്. ഇതോടെ കൃത്യസമയത്ത് എത്താൻ സാധിക്കില്ലെന്ന ആശങ്കയില്‍ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ഉദ്യോഗാർഥികൾ ട്രാക്കിലിറങ്ങി പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചു. റെയിൽവേ ട്രാക്കിലേക്ക് ചാടിവീണ ഉദ്യോഗാർഥികൾ ട്രെയിൻ ഗതാഗതം പൂർണ്ണമായി തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തുകയും അധികൃതർക്കെതിരെ മുദ്രാവാക്യം വിളിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

തങ്ങളെ കൃത്യസമയത്ത് പരീക്ഷാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിൽ എത്തിക്കാൻ അടിയന്തര സംവിധാനം ഒരുക്കണമെന്ന് ഉദ്യോഗാർഥികൾ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. പ്രതിഷേധത്തെ തുടർന്ന് വൈകിട്ട് മുതൽ രാത്രി വൈകുന്നത് വരെ പാടലിപുത്ര സ്റ്റേഷനിലൂടെയുള്ള റെയിൽവേ സർവീസുകൾ തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടു. നിരവധി ട്രെയിനുകളാണ് വിവിധ പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമുകളിലായി മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം കുടുങ്ങി കിടന്നത്. നിരവധി ട്രെയിൻ സർവീസുകൾ വൈകിയാണ് സർവീസ് നടത്തിയത്.

സാഹചര്യം വഷളായതോടെ മുതിർന്ന റെയിൽവേ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും, ദാനാപ്പൂർ സബ് ഡിവിഷണൽ മജിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റും, അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് സൂപ്രണ്ട് ഓഫ് പൊലീസും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി വിദ്യാർഥികളുമായി ചർച്ച നടത്തി. വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലെ പരീക്ഷാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലേക്ക് പോകുന്ന ഉദ്യോഗാർഥികൾക്കായി പ്രത്യേക ട്രെയിനുകൾ അനുവദിച്ചു. യാത്ര ചെയ്യാൻ മറ്റ് ബദൽ യാത്രാ സൗകര്യങ്ങളും ഏർപ്പെടുത്തി. തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് മണിക്കൂറുകൾ നീണ്ട പ്രതിഷേധത്തിനൊടുവിൽ വിദ്യാർഥികൾ ട്രാക്കിൽ നിന്നും മാറാൻ തയ്യാറായത്.

Massive chaos erupted at the Patliputra Railway Station in Bihar's Patna on Sunday after thousands of candidates appearing for the Bihar Police recruitment examination staged a violent protest. The intense agitation began when students, bound for various regional examination centres, grew deeply anxious over severe delays and an alleged lack of adequate train services. Fearing they would miss their strictly scheduled exam slots, the furious crowd stormed the railway tracks, completely halting train traffic and shouting slogans against the administration. The demonstration soon took a destructive turn as a section of protesters reportedly resorted to stone-pelting and vandalized a special examination train stationed at a platform. To bring the deteriorating law and order situation under control, security forces had to employ a baton charge, fire warning shots in the air, and use tear gas shells to disperse the mob. Normalcy was finally restored after senior railway authorities, along with the Danapur Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Assistant Superintendent of Police, held direct talks with the students and deployed immediate special trains to safely transport them.
