പുതിയതായി വാങ്ങിയ ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റ് കഴുകിയപ്പോള്‍ അതില്‍ മെയ്ഡ് ഇന്‍ പാക്കിസ്ഥാന്‍ എന്ന ടാഗ് തെളിഞ്ഞുവന്നെന്ന്  പരാതിയുമായി വീട്ടമ്മ പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനില്‍. പൂണെ സ്വദേശിയാണ് പരാതിക്കാരി. പിംപ്രി–ചിന്‍ച്​വഡ് പ്രദേശത്ത് നടന്ന സന്‍കഷ്തി ചതുര്‍ഥി ആഘോഷത്തിനിടെ വാങ്ങിയ  ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റിലാണ് ഇതുണ്ടായതെന്നാണ് പരാതിയില്‍ പറയുന്നത്.

വാങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ ഇങ്ങനെയൊരു ടാഗ് ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍പ്പെട്ടിരുന്നില്ലെന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പ് കഴുകിയപ്പോഴാണ് ഇത് കണ്ടതെന്നുമാണ് യുവതി പറയുന്നത്. സംശയാസ്പദമായി തോന്നിയതോടെ ഇവര്‍ ഇതിന്‍റെ വിഡിയോ സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളിലും  പങ്കുവച്ചു. പാക്കിസ്ഥാനിലുണ്ടാക്കിയ ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റ് എങ്ങനെ പൂണെയിലെ ലോക്കല്‍ മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിലെത്തിയെന്നായിരുന്നു വിഡിയോയ്ക്കൊപ്പം കുറിച്ചത്. വിഡിയോ അതിവേഗം വൈറലായി. പൊലീസിന്‍റെ ശ്രദ്ധയിലുമെത്തി. തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് അന്വേഷണം വന്നതും ഇവര്‍ പരാതിയായി നല്‍കിയതും. 

പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘം രൂപീകരിച്ച പൊലീസ് ഇതിന്‍റെ ഉറവിടം കണ്ടെത്താനുള്ള ശ്രമം ആരംഭിച്ചു. മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ തന്നെ സംഭാജിനഗറില്‍ മെയ്ഡ് ഇന്‍ പാക്കിസ്ഥാന്‍ ലേബലിലെ സൗന്ദര്യവര്‍ധക വസ്തുക്കള്‍ വിറ്റ സംഭവത്തില്‍ മൂന്നുപേര്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം അറസ്റ്റിലായിരുന്നു. ഇതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് പാക്കിസ്ഥാന്‍ നിര്‍മിത ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റും കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഇതിന്റെ ഉറവിടവും വിതരണ ശൃംഖലയും കണ്ടെത്തുമെന്നും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
