വിനിത എന്ന യുവതിയാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഇന്‍സ്റ്റഗ്രാമില്‍ വി‍ഡിയോ പോസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. താന്‍ ഓടാനിറങ്ങിയതായിരുന്നുവെന്നും രാവിലെ 6.15 ഓടുകൂടിയാണ് സംഭവം നടന്നതെന്നും യുവതി പറയുന്നു. ‘ഹൈദരാബാദിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് അറിയാം, അതിരാവിലെ പോലും ഈ സൈക്കിള്‍ ട്രാക്കില്‍ ഒരുപാട് ആളുകളുണ്ടാകും. ഒരു 2 മില്ലിസെക്കൻഡ് നേരത്തെ ഞാന്‍ ക്യാമറ എടുത്തിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ അയാളുടെ മുഖം നിങ്ങളെ കാണിക്കാമായിരുന്നു’ യുവതി പറഞ്ഞു. താന്‍ വിഡിയോ എടുക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയതോടെ അയാള്‍ ട്രാക്കിലൂടെ ഓടിരക്ഷപ്പെട്ടുവെന്നും യുവതി പറഞ്ഞു. ‘ഞാൻ എപ്പോഴും സൂര്യോദയത്തിനു ശേഷമാണ് വരാറുള്ളത്, കാരണം ഓടുന്ന വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച് ഒരു ഓട്ടോയിലോ ബൈക്കിലോ പോലും എനിക്ക് സുരക്ഷിതത്വം തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല. ഈ ഓട്ടോക്കാരും ബൈക്കുകാരും തുറിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു, പലപ്പോഴും പ്രായമായ പുരുഷന്മാരായിരിക്കും ഇവര്‍’ യുവതി വിഡിയോയില്‍ പറയുന്നു.

വിഡിയോ ഓൺലൈനിൽ വൻ പ്രതിഷേധത്തിന് ഇടയാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്, നിരവധി ഉപയോക്താക്കൾ സൈബറാബാദ് പൊലീസിനെ കമന്‍റില്‍ ടാഗ് ചെയ്യുകയും നടപടി ആവശ്യപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്. ‘ഹൈദരാബാദിനെ ഞാൻ ഒരുപാട് സ്നേഹിച്ചിരുന്നു, ഈ നഗരം ഏറ്റവും സുരക്ഷിതമായ നഗരങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണെന്നാണ് ഞാൻ ശരിക്കും വിശ്വസിച്ചിരുന്നത്’ എന്നാണ് ഒരു ഉപയോക്താവ് കമന്‍റായി കുറിച്ചത്.

അതേസമയം, വിഡിയോയിലെ വ്യക്തിയെ തിരിച്ചറിയാന്‍ അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചതായി സൈബറാബാദ് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. ഇത്തരം സംഭവങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായാൽ ഉടൻ തന്നെ 100 എന്ന നമ്പറിൽ വിളിച്ച് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യണമെന്നും അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ പൊലീസിന് ഉടനടി പ്രതികരിക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കുമെന്നും പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.
