ഭീകരത വെല്ലുവിളി ഉയര്‍ത്തിയിരുന്ന ജമ്മുവിലെ പൂഞ്ചില്‍ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി റേഡിയോ സ്റ്റേഷനുമായി കരസേന. പൂഞ്ചിലെ ആദ്യ വനിതാ റേഡിയോ ജോക്കിയടക്കം നാല് ആര്‍ജെകള്‍ റേഡിയോ പീര്‍ പഞ്ചലിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമാണ്. 

പൂഞ്ചിലെ സുരാന്‍കോട്ടില്‍ പോത്ത എന്ന മനോഹര ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ സൈനിക കേന്ദ്രത്തിലാണ് റേഡിയോ പീര്‍ പഞ്ചല്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നത്. ചെറിയ സൗകര്യങ്ങളില്‍ മികച്ച സേവനം. മേല്‍നോട്ടം സൈന്യം നേരിട്ട്. ഇതാണ് റേഡിയോ പീര്‍ പഞ്ചല്‍ 90.4. ഭീകരത അശാന്തി സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരുന്ന പൂഞ്ചില്‍ നാടിന് കാവല്‍ നില്‍ക്കുന്ന സൈന്യത്തിന്‍റെ ജനസേവനത്തിന്‍റെ മറ്റൊരു ഉദാഹരണമാണ് ഈ റേഡിയോ സ്റ്റേഷന്‍. പൂഞ്ചിലെ ആദ്യ വനിതാ റേഡിയോ ജോക്കി ഫായിസയടക്കം നാല് ആര്‍ജെകള്‍ റേഡിയോ പീര്‍ പഞ്ചലിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമാണ്.
