നിലമ്പൂര് കണ്വന്ഷനില് കെ.സി വേണുഗോപാല് തുറന്നുവിട്ട പെന്ഷന് വിവാദം പ്രചാരണരംഗത്ത് ആളിക്കത്തുകയാണ്. യുഡിഎഫിന് അധികാരം കിട്ടിയാല് ക്ഷേമപെന്ഷന് നിര്ത്തലാക്കും എന്ന സൂചനയാണ് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് നല്കുന്നതെന്ന് സിപിഎം സെക്രട്ടറി എം.വി.ഗോവിന്ദന് ആരോപിക്കുന്നു. മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ പെന്ഷന് ഗുണഭോക്താക്കളുടെ യോഗം തന്നെ വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ് സിപിഎം. എന്നാല് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് അടുക്കുമ്പോള് കുടിശികയുമായി ജനങ്ങളെ കബളിപ്പിക്കുന്ന നിലപാടിനെയാണ് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തതെന്നും നിലപാടില് ഉറച്ച് നില്ക്കുന്നുവെന്നും കോണ്ഗ്രസ് ഒറ്റക്കെട്ടായി പറയുന്നു. സാമൂഹ്യക്ഷേമ പെന്ഷനെന്ന പേരില് ഇന്ധന സെസായി പിരിച്ച 700 കോടി എവിടെപ്പോയെന്നും യുഡിഎഫ് ചോദിക്കുന്നു. ക്ഷേമപെന്ഷന് ഔദാര്യമോ ?
