പാലക്കാട് കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസി ഡിപ്പോയിൽ നിന്ന് ബസ് കടത്തുന്ന ദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്ത്

Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged capturing the audacious attempt to steal a KSRTC ordinary bus directly from the Palakkad depot early last Sunday. The newly recovered surveillance visuals show the suspect recklessly driving the heavy passenger vehicle out of the premises, visibly crashing into and damaging a nearby shop front in the process. Additional security footage obtained by the investigating team also reveals the suspects originally arriving near the depot area on a motorcycle. The frantic incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning, prompting immediate panic among the depot staff who noticed the vehicle missing and launched an urgent search. Thanks to the quick response of the KSRTC employees who chased after the vehicle, the culprit abandoned the hijacked bus near the Mangalam Towers area, roughly one and a half kilometers away from the station, around 5:00 AM. Preliminary assessments indicate that the thief drove the bus erratically through various parts of the town, leaving behind significant scrape marks and collision damages on the vehicle's body. The Palakkad Town South Police have officially registered a case and are aggressively utilizing the digital footage to track down and apprehend the fleeing suspects.
