തൃശൂര്‍ മാടക്കത്തറ കുടുബാരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രത്തിനു സമീപം യുവാവ് കുത്തേറ്റ് മരിക്കുകയും സുഹ‍ൃത്തിന് പരുക്കേല്‍ക്കുകയും ചെയ്‌ത സംഭവത്തില്‍ അച്ഛനും രണ്ട് ആണ്‍മക്കളും അറസ്റ്റില്‍. ലഹരി ഇടപാടു സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള  മുന്‍വൈരാഗ്യമാണ് കൊലയ്ക്കു പിന്നിലെന്ന് പൊലീസ് കണ്ടെത്തി. നാല് സെന്‍റ് ഉന്നതിയില്‍ താമസിക്കുന്ന 22 വയസുകാരന്‍ നിഖിലാണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്.

അയല്‍വാസി ജിന്‍റോയാണ് നിഖിലിനെ വലതു ഷോള്‍ഡറില്‍ ആഴത്തില്‍ കുത്തി കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ജിന്‍റോയുടെ അച്ഛന്‍ ഔസേപ്പിനെതിരെയും സഹോദരന്‍ ജെയ്‍സനെതിരെയും പൊലീസ് കേസെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിഖിലിനൊപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന സുഹ‍ൃത്ത് ഷാമോനും പരുക്കേറ്റ‌ു. മുഖത്തും കൈയിലും പരുക്കേറ്റ ഷാമോന്‍ അപകടനില തരണം ചെയ്തു.

ഷാമോനും പ്രതി ജിന്‍റോയും തമ്മില്‍ തര്‍ക്കങ്ങളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നിഖിലിന്‍റെയും ഷാമോന്‍റെയും ലഹരി ഉപയോഗത്തെപ്പറ്റി ജിന്‍റോ പൊലീസിനെ അറിയിച്ചതും ഇവര്‍ തമ്മിലുള്ള ശത്രുതയ്ക്ക് കാരണമായി. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി നിഖിലും ഷാമോനും ജിന്‍റോയുടെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് കടന്നു വന്ന് പ്രശ്‍നമുണ്ടാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്നുണ്ടായ തര്‍ക്കമാണ് കൊലപാതകത്തില്‍ കലാശിച്ചത്.
