കണ്ണൂരില് സുഹൃത്തിനെ തലയ്ക്കടിച്ച് വീഴ്ത്തിയ ശേഷം രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നതിനിടെ യുവാവ് ട്രെയിന് തട്ടി മരിച്ചു. പാപ്പിനിശ്ശേരി സ്വദേശി ഷെഫീഖ് ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഷെഫീഖിന്റെ അടിയേറ്റ് ഗുരുതര പരിക്കേറ്റ പ്രശാന്തന് ചികിത്സയിലാണ്.
അടുത്ത സുഹൃത്തുക്കളായിരുന്നു ഷെഫീഖും പ്രശാന്തനും. ഏറെ നാളായി വിദേശത്ത് ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ഷെഫീഖ് അടുത്തിടെയാണ് നാട്ടില് എത്തിയത്. ഇതിന് ശേഷം ഒരു കട തുടങ്ങുന്നതിനുള്ള നടപടികളും തുടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. കടയിലെ ഇലക്ട്രിക് ജോലികള് ചെയ്തിരുന്നത് പ്രശാന്തനാണ്. ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ ഷെഫീഖ് പ്രശാന്തന്റെ വീട്ടില് എത്തിയിരുന്നു. തുടർന്നാണ് അക്രമം നടത്തിയത്.
രക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ ഷെഫീഖ് ട്രെയിൻ തട്ടി മരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. സംഭവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് വളപട്ടണം പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു.
