മല്‍സരത്തിൽ നേരത്തെ മഞ്ഞക്കാർഡ് ലഭിച്ച ബ്രീൽ എംബോളോ രണ്ടാം മഞ്ഞക്കാർഡോടെ കളം വിടേണ്ടി വരികയായിരുന്നു. പരേഡെസുമായി സമ്പര്‍ക്കമുണ്ടാകുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പ് തന്നെ എംബോളോ ഡൈവ് ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു എന്ന് റീപ്ലേകളിൽ വ്യക്തമായി. ഇതോടെ പരേഡെസുടെ മഞ്ഞ കാര്‍ഡ് പിന്‍വലിക്കുകയും എംബോളോയ്ക്ക് കാര്‍ഡ് നല്‍കുകയുമായിരുന്നു. 

മല്‍സരത്തിന്റെ 44-ാം മിനിറ്റിൽ പരേഡെസിനെതിരെ അപകടകരമായ രീതിയിൽ ഫൗൾ ചെയ്തതിനായിരുന്നു ആദ്യ മഞ്ഞ കാര്‍ഡ്.
