കൊല്ലം ശക്തികുളങ്ങരയില്‍ സുനാമി പാര്‍പ്പിടസമുച്ചയത്തില്‍ നരക ജീവിതം നയിച്ച് താമസക്കാര്‍. 112 കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് 16 വര്‍ഷമായിട്ടും ഉടമസ്ഥാവകാശം ലഭിച്ചില്ല. എം.എല്‍.എ കണ്ടിട്ടും ഫലമുണ്ടായില്ലെന്നും കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ പരാതിയായി പറയുന്നു.

14 ബ്ലോക്കുകളിലായി 112 കുടുംബങ്ങളാണ് ഇവിടെ താമസിക്കുന്നത്. സുനാമിയടിച്ച് എല്ലാം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്കുള്ള പുനരധിവാസ പദ്ധതിയായാണ് പാര്‍പ്പിടസമുച്ചയം നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചത്. എന്നാല്‍ ഇന്നത്തെ ഫ്ലാറ്റിലെ അവസ്ഥ പരിതാപകരമാണ്. 2011 ല്‍ താമസം തുടങ്ങിയ കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇതുവരെയും ഉടമസ്ഥാവകാശ സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് പോലും ഇതുവരെ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. 

ഉടമസ്ഥാവകാശത്തിനു കയറിയിറങ്ങാത്ത സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഓഫിസുകളില്ല. എല്ലായിടത്തുനിന്നും ഇപ്പോള്‍ ശരിയാക്കാം എന്ന മറുപടിയാണ് കിട്ടുന്നതെങ്കിലും പതിനാറു വര്‍ഷമായിട്ടും പരിഹാരമായില്ലെന്നുമാത്രം. മല്‍സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളി കുടുംബങ്ങളാണ് ഇവിടെ താമസിക്കുന്നവരില്‍ ഏറെയും.

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

Around 112 families, mostly fisherfolk, living in the Tsunami Housing Complex in Shakthikulangara, Kollam, are leading a miserable life as they have not been granted ownership certificates even after 16 years of moving in (since 2011). The flats, constructed as a rehabilitation project for Tsunami victims, are now in a dilapidated condition. Despite repeated visits to various government offices and the intervention of the local MLA, the families have only received empty promises and no resolution to the ownership crisis, leaving them in a state of continuous uncertainty.
