ലോക ഹൃദയ ദിനാഘോഷത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കോട്ടയം പാലായില് നീന്തല് റിലേ മല്സരം. മാർ സ്ലീവാ മെഡിസിറ്റി ആശുപത്രി പാലാ സെന്റ് തോമസ് കോളജ് അക്വാറ്റിക് സെന്ററുമായി സഹകരിച്ചാണ് 'സ്വിം എ തോൺ' എന്ന പേരില് നീന്തൽ മത്സരം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. പതിനൊന്ന് ടീമുകള് പങ്കെടുത്ത മല്സരത്തില് പാലാ തോപ്പൻസ് അക്കാഡമി എ ടീം ജേതാക്കളായി. ദേശീയ നീന്തൽ താരവും സാഫ് ഗെയിംസ് ജേതാവുമായിരുന്ന ജോസഫ് ചാവറ സമ്മാനദാനം നിർവഹിച്ചു. മാർ സ്ലീവാ മെഡിസിറ്റിയുടെ മാനേജിങ് ഡയറക്ടറും സിഇഒയുമായ ഫാദര് മാത്യു തെക്കേൽ, സെന്റ് തോമസ് കോളജ് ബർസാർ ഫാദര് മാത്യു ആലപ്പാട്ട് മേടയിലുള്പ്പെടെയുളളവര് പങ്കെടുത്തു.

As part of World Heart Day celebrations, Mar Sleeva Medicity hospital collaborated with the St. Thomas College Aquatic Centre to organize a relay swimming competition named 'Swim-a-Thon' in Pala, Kottayam. The swimming event saw energetic participation from eleven teams, with the Pala Thoppans Academy 'A' team emerging as the overall champions. Former national swimming athlete and SAF Games medalist Joseph Chavara presented the trophies to the winning teams during the valedictory ceremony.
